17Yahweh said to me, 20“…any who speak in the name of other gods, or any prophet who presumes to speak in My name a word that I have not authorized him to speak–that prophet must die!” 21You may be asking, “How can we know whether the prophet is from Yahweh or not?” 22Here’s how–when a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, and the prediction does not take place, then Yahweh has not spoken.
